  • Preheat a waffle maker to medium heat according to manufacturer's instructions. Meanwhile, whisk almond flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Whisk eggs, buttermilk and oil in another medium bowl. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and stir until mostly smooth.

  • Lightly coat the waffle maker with cooking spray. Working in batches, add about 1/4 cup batter per waffle to the waffle maker; cook until golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes per batch. Coat the waffle maker with more cooking spray as needed between batches.

To make ahead

Individually wrap and freeze cooked and cooled waffles for up to 3 months. Reheat frozen waffles in the toaster oven or in the oven (directly on the rack) until crispy.
