Slow-Cooker Maple, Cinnamon, Apple & Pear Sauce
Essentially slow-cooker applesauce with pears added in, this is comforting, cinnamony and not too sweet. Use it any way you would use applesauce--in cakes, on pork chops, or eaten straight with a spoon. You can leave the apples unblended and use them as an oatmeal topping or a lighter apple pie filling.

Multicooker Directions: Coat the inner pot of a 6-quart multicooker evenly with cooking spray. Stir together the apples, pears, water, maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg in the pot. Lock the lid; turn Pressure Valve to "Venting." Cook on SLOW COOK [Normal] until the apples and pears are very tender, about 6 hours. Turn off the cooker, and stir in the lemon juice. finish the recipe.
