Form into 4 equal patties, about 4 inches in diameter. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium and add the burgers. Cook for 4 minutes. Turn over and top each with a mozzarella slice. Cover and cook until an instant-read thermometer reaches 165 degrees F, another 3 or 4 minutes. Meanwhile, stir mayonnaise and chopped basil together in a small bowl. Place tomato slices on a plate and drizzle with vinegar. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the mayonnaise mixture on the bottom of each bun. Top with a burger, two tomato slices and some basil leaves.
