This salmon recipe is simple--just top the fillet with fresh herbs, salt, pepper, and lemon slices and bake for 20 minutes. Serve alongside a rice pilaf and roasted or sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
Thaw salmon, if frozen. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with foil. Place salmon, skin side down, on foil-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle salmon with chives, thyme, pepper, and salt. Top with lemon slices.
Cover salmon with foil. Bake 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 20 to 25 minutes more or until salmon flakes easily when tested with a fork. Serve immediately.
Tip: Be sure all bones are removed from the salmon fillet before baking.
