I subbed in a mixture of golden monk fruit sweetener and regular monk fruit and it turned out awesome. I also used ghee instead of butter. My husband and I promptly ate almost half of the bars while still warm from the oven. They would be great with coffee or tea in the morning. Excellent apple recipe!!
I ended up baking these for 35 minutes. They were done, and tasted excellent, but they are really soft. I followed the recipe exactly, only adding some cardamom with the cinnamon, but they were almost too soft to eat; however, the taste was great and I’m shocked that they’re really low in carbs and sugar!
Made these the other morning and they were gone by the end of the day! They were absolutely delicious-kids loved them as well. Definitely will be making them again.
