Here's an alternative to beef hamburgers with traditional buns! These grilled patties are made with mushrooms, green onions and ground pork and served on non-bulky pita bread with a scrumptious yogurt, cheese and herb sauce.
In a large bowl combine pork, mushrooms, green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Divide pork mixture into four equal portions and form each portion into a 3/4-inch-thick patty.
For a charcoal or gas grill, place patties on the grill rack directly over medium heat. Grill, covered, for 14 to 18 minutes or until done (160 degrees F), turning once halfway through grilling.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine yogurt, feta cheese, garlic, and rosemary. Spread yogurt mixture evenly inside pita quarters. Add grilled pork patties and sweet peppers to make four sandwiches.
Serve with Arugula-Asparagus Salad.
