Apples contribute a touch of sweetness to a traditional cabbage slaw, and pecans give it a delicious crunchy finish. To save time, substitute 3 cups prepared coleslaw mix for the sliced cabbage and shredded carrots.

I have been making this for a few years putting most of the same ingredients in mine. I was just winging it and then I found YOUR recipe. My changes are Pepitas in place of the almonds/pecans and the addition of dried cranberries which goes well with the apples. I serve as a side with burgers pulled pork sandwiches and roast beef au jus. Thank you! Read More
