Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole-wheat country bread

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon pepper

  • Pinch of thyme

Directions

  1. Rub bread with garlic. Cube the bread.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bread cubes and cook, stirring often, until crispy. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme.
