This came together so quickly 20 minutes including chopping everything up. I love starches so served with brown rice. I also love spicy so I doubled the chipotles. Also it had a bit too much shrimp for my taste. I'll probably use half the shrimp and add avocado next time. Super bold flavors and healthy. Pros: Easy Healthy Quick Yummy Cons: NULL
I have made this recipe at least a dozen times. It is so good that I didn't want to share it! Sometimes we put it in burritos with a smidge of sour creme or a pinch of cheese but usually it gets eaten right out of the mixing bowl. The more hot sauce the better!
Flavorful easy and quick! I doubled the adobo chili because we really like spice. This was great as a dinner with a few artisinal chiptole chips. My husband raved about it. Looked good and tasted good. Pros: Easy full of flavor
Great Foundation recipe! This is a solid recipe to start with and it's so easy to build upon according to your tastes! We used a tbs of Chipotle Chili Powder (found in the spice aisle) because our grocery was out of adobo. I'm not sure what the difference in taste is but this substitution tasted amazing! We also added juice from one lime and a ripe avocado and it was so perfect. My recommendation is to keep the wet ingredients as listed and experiment with the dry ingredients meat/veggies.
