Tasty and surprisingly filling! I made a half recipe of this for myself and my husband (we call him the meat eater.) I loved it and so did he! It made enough to be filling for a summer supper with a glass of wine. I used the dried oregano and the dressing which looked like it wasn't going to be enough when I started was tasty and plenty to cover the salad. I'll definitely make this again!
I LOVE this salad! It is such a filling and low calorie meal. Since discovering it I have had it several times a month. But I don't use olive oil (I spray the salad with olive oil Pam) and I use low calorie Feta cheese to save even more calories. I also add a tablespoon of white vinegar to the mix. Soooo good! (I have the dill weed--I don't like it with oregano).
AWESOME USE OF LEFTOVERS! My spouse & i loved this meal. It was refreshing and satisfying on a hot day. It was wonderful as written and i look forward to playing with different vegetables; maybe kick up the dressing as well. Pros: delectable healthy and best yet an easy meal. Cons: have to serve immediately there can be no leftovers of this
Great fufilling Salad! I'm eating this salad as I type. It is so yummy satisfying and tasty and one portion of salad is more than enough to fill your belly. I used Shallots for a bit of kick and opted for the dried dill weed because it was on hand and it worked great. Definitely a salad I will be making in the future. Light & Fresh - Delicious Followed the recipe exactly and it was wonderful. It was simple to make we had it for dinner tonight with some french bread. Perfect as a light meal not necesarry to have anything else with it. Pros: Healthy simple filling without being heavy Cons: None
