As strange as this recipe sounds it is delicious. This smoothie makes a great lunch or afternoon snack on a hot summer's day. It really is good.
Toddler Approved Sounds gross but even my two toddlers love it. I could do with less juice as it is a bit sweet for me. Maybe add some water instead. Also if you can't find raspberry juice apple was a fine substitute. Pros: Good way to use up avacados Cons: A tad too sweet
Yum! Avocados give the BEST texture. I didn't have raspberry juice so I used cranberry juice. Also I like REALLY thick smoothies so I doubled the amount of frozen berries. SO good!
I use avocados in smoothies but avoid processed juices altogether. A half avocado cup of frozen mango 1/2 cup spinach and 1/2 banana are great together with a couple TBSP of fatfree greek yogurt and a splash of water or FF milk (sometimes a little sweetner and almonds). Yummy.
Very tastey Made with unsweetened raspberry/pomegranate juice and it turned out awesome.
So yummy! I had to modify this recipe down to one serving and it still turned out very well!! Definitely recommend you try this recipe as I was skeptical when trying it but it's delicious! Pros: You could barely taste the avocado but then the creamy texture of the avocado was still there!
YOU MUST TRY THIS!! I was really skeptical at first but it is sooo delicious. The best smoothie I've ever had.
Avocado can make it or break it... This is a fabulous smoothie recipe and the ingredients go so well together. Just a caveat: don't let your avocado get over-ripe as it will negatively affect the flavor of this wonderful concoction. It will be somewhat difficult to 'cover it up' with other things (a dollop of plain greek yogurt a little honey more raspberries...you get the idea). Use fresh avocados:) Pros: SUPER tasty!
This sounded strange to me at first but I love avocados so I decided to give it a try. It's really great! I used a cran-raspberry juice instead of just raspberry juice. Yummy!
