Samantha Leal is a lifestyle writer, editor and editorial consultant. Her previous roles include deputy editor at Well+Good and other editorial stints at Marie Claire, Latina Magazine, The Knot and more. She's covered wellness, health, beauty, travel, wine and food for places like Well+Good, Refinery29, Glamour, Teen Vogue, VinePair, Wine Enthusiast and more.

Samantha has been on and moderated panels about wellness in the workplace for Glassdoor, mental health around the holidays for Saysh, women's health, aging and menopause for SXSW, and wellness in the beauty industry for Beautycounter's 10th anniversary summit. She's also hosted wellness panels for Well+Good centering around Latinx issues, radical rest and their 30-day mental health challenge.

Samantha is passionate about the importance of caring for one's self and one's community. She's currently working on her WSET II wine certification, and she has a bachelor's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
