But one thing that undeniably makes working out more enjoyable is music. And now, thanks to Reese Witherspoon, we have a new playlist to keep us motivated when we exercise. Michelle Obama's Workout Motivation Playlist Is Amazing Recently, the actress and producer has taken to her Instagram to encourage her followers to get active as part of a 30-day December walk/run challenge. Each day on her Instagram stories, Witherspoon shares a new workout playlist. So far, the playlists have ranged in genre from country to pop music. Monday's playlist, aka day four of 30, was a Spotify-curated list titled "Pumped Pop." The upbeat mix features songs like "What A Man Gotta Do" by the Jonas Brothers, "You Need to Calm Down" by Taylor Swift and "Green Light" by Lorde (You can listen to the whole playlist here). And if you're looking for other Reese-approved playlists, Hello Sunshine, Witherspoon's production company, has a few mixes inspired by her monthly book club picks. In addition to her daily playlists, Witherspoon is being candid about her workout journey. In an Instagram story, Witherspoon admitted that "some days are just slow" and that "[she] walked more than [she] ran." Witherspoon's honesty is a great reminder that you should exercise at your own pace, especially when you're trying to build up a consistent routine, and that any movement is better than none. This Is How Much You Should Exercise Each Week, According to the World Health Organization So the next time you're exercising, queue up Witherspoon's pop-filled playlist and get moving! And if you're looking for a little pre-workout fuel, Witherspoon's daily green smoothie would be a nutritious and tasty option. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why!
