Trader Joe's Is Selling a Low-Carb Stir-Fry Mix Made from Veggies
Whether you're on a low-carb meal plan or just want to find a tasty way to sneak more veggies into your diet, Trader Joe's new gochujang stir-fry made with zucchini spirals has you covered. @TraderJoesList spotted this veggie-based stir-fry at their local Trader Joe's store and shared it on Instagram.
The stir-fry mixture is chock-full of veggies, including zucchini spirals, carrots, broccoli, red bell peppers, green beans and edamame. The frozen veggies come coated in an umami sauce made with soy sauce, gochujang, ginger, garlic and sesame oil.
Each 16-ounce bag serves four people and has 50 calories, 1 gram of fat, 240mg of sodium, 9 grams of carbs, 2 grams of fiber, 3 grams of sugar (none of which is added) and 2 grams of protein per serving. For low-carb or keto dieters, each serving contains just 7 grams of net carbs, plus you get a nice potassium boost (which can be hard to get on a very low-carb diet).
The best part? This side dish comes together in just minutes. Simply add a little bit of cooking spray or oil to a pan and saute for 6-7 minutes until everything is cooked. Since this veggie stir-fry is very low in calories, we recommend adding your favorite protein to boost satiety. We think our Spicy Ginger Marinated Chicken or Soy-Lime Roasted Tofu would both be delicious with these veggies.
