I am no stranger to the Trader Joe's snack aisle. Whether it's to grab a bag of popcorn or crunchy okra, snacks are always the first thing I put in my cart when I make a trip to my local TJ's. But oftentimes, it's my aimless wandering around the store that unveils delicious snacks I might not have noticed before. And that's how I discovered the Everything But the Gluten Crispbread Crackers.

Though TJ's has other crispbread crackers, this version is made from oats and corn flour to make them gluten-free. While these crackers are still packed with seeds—including flax and sunflower—they differ from the existing versions in two ways. First, these crackers are a smaller rectangle size. Second, they come flavored with ingredients (similar to TJ's mega-popular Everything But the Bagel seasoning) including granulated onion, dried minced garlic, salt and white and black sesame seeds (P.S. check out these ideas for using the Everything But the Bagel seasoning).

These crackers would be delicious on their own or paired with cheese or smoked salmon to make a healthy, mid-afternoon snack. Each 7-piece serving contains 160 calories, 11 grams of fat (including 1 gram of saturated fat), 190 milligrams of sodium, 4 grams of fiber, 5 grams of protein and less than 1 gram of sugar.

So the next time you're at TJ's, look for a package of these crackers above the frozen food aisles. You can buy a 4.2-ounce package for just $2.99. I know I'll be adding them to my cart!
