While I really love the light and fresh feel of summer dinners, lately they’ve been a little too light and an hour or so after I eat dinner I find myself rooting through the pantry and eating all the snacks. A few too many snacks later and cue the bloating and indigestion! So, this week I’m going to be more intentional about making satisfying dinners that will keep the late-night snacking at bay. This week’s high-protein recipes, with at least 15 grams per serving, will certainly help!
Your Meal Plan
I’m excited about all of the high-protein dinners in this week’s plan, especially the Crispy Fish Taco Bowls for Sunday. You all should know by now that I love tacos, whether it’s a true taco, wrapped up in a warm tortilla, or a deconstructed taco in bowl form, like this one. This is the first time I’ll be making this recipe and I already feel like it’ll be a new favorite. Talking about favorites, we also have Tuscan White Bean Soup in the line up. We’ve had a few rainy, cool nights in the past weeks and I’ve been craving a bowl of hot soup ever since. This brothy, veggie-packed recipe does not disappoint. I wish I had more space to tell you all my favorite things about the rest of the week’s dinners but you’ll just have to make them and see for yourself!

My next-door neighbors have a massive crab-apple tree in their backyard that is chock full of fruit right now. It literally smells like a McIntosh candle back there, and thankfully the sweet smell wafts over to our yard—I love it! This yummy-looking Apple-Pie Bread will make the inside of my house smell just as good and serve as a tasty snack for the week.

I found a bottle of Prosecco stashed in the back of my liquor cabinet and saw that as a sign to make something fancy-feeling, like this Rosemary-Ginger French 75! The rosemary and ginger simple syrup adds a flavorful twist to this classic cocktail, though if you don’t have those ingredients on hand you can also use plain simple syrup for the classic cocktail (just combine 1 part sugar to 1 part water in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat until the sugar dissolves).
