Celebrity Chefs Are Teaching These Online Cooking Classes—and Some Are Donating All Proceeds to Charity
Step inside the kitchen (virtually, at least) of some of the most talented chefs on the planet.
Grab your apron, mixing bowl … and computer?! Starting today, Airbnb Online Experiences is partnering with Take a Chef to help you level up your culinary skills alongside some of the most talented chefs on the planet with their new Online Cooking Experiences.
We're talking Michelin-starred and James Beard Award-winning stars like New York's David Chang, Spain's Roberto Ruiz and Italy's Giuseppe Iannotti. We can't wait to learn new techniques, "travel" (well, at least virtually) and support a good cause all at once—during July, a few of the Online Cooking Experiences will donate all proceeds to benefit food-related non-profits such as The LEE Initiative Restaurant Reboot Relief Program and ABC Food Tours.
While there are dozens of online cooking classes you can enroll in, we're looking forward to starting with these five that have healthy-ish recipes on the menu.
Rōze Traore's Favorite Summer Recipes: The seasonal creations in the lineup include cucumber-squash panzanella and a summer shaved fruit salad.
Rishi Naleendra's Flavors from Down Under: Modern Australian cuisine meets exotic Asian flavors and European techniques in this masterclass in multicultural cooking using fresh local produce.
Diego Guerrero's World of High Kitchen Fermentations: Master the methods that will make homemade kombucha, kimchi and more gut-friendly goodies a breeze to DIY.
Check out the complete list of now-available or coming-soon classes, then prepare to take a tastebud tour of the globe—no passport required.
