This S'mores Bark From Costco Is the Tastiest Summer Dessert

Little says, "Welcome to summer!" more than the sound of a crackling bonfire and the taste of a golden brown toasted marshmallow. If campgrounds near you are still closed due to the pandemic or you simply want to get your s'mores fix STAT, Costco has you covered. Actually Chuao Chocolatier, a gourmet San Diego confection company does—and one of their new-for-2020 products is now available at Costco for $8.99 for 15 ounces.

One of three S'mores Bark Luxe flavors (alongside Pumpkin Spice S'mores Bark Luxe and Snuggle Up S'mores), this fair-trade chocolate bark is designed to make their Oh My S'mores Chocolate Bar ($6 per 2.8-ounce bar, chuaochocolatier.com) easier to share. Oh yes, and more affordable. The Costco packs of bark are 60 cents per ounce, while the original bars are $2.14 per ounce.

Each 1.4-ounce serving has 200 calories, 12 grams of fat (7 of those are saturated), 34 grams of carbs and 2 grams of protein.

According to @nemrac299, who commented on the @costcobuys spotted-on-shelves photo, "This stuff is sooo good! Go ahead and get two bags. You're welcome! 🤭" Sounds like a sensible strategy to us...
