Who needs a bouquet of roses when you can have cheese in the shape of a heart?

Valentine's Day is just a few weeks away, and we always love an excuse to drink good wine and eat chocolate with the person (or people) we love most. However, Aldi is giving us another great reason to celebrate the day of love this year—they're bringing their beloved heart-shaped cheeses back just in time for Valentine's Day! Best part? One of them tastes like gin!

Starting January 29, Aldi locations nationwide will be offering three festive assorted cheeses from their Emporium Selection line. Choose from heart-shaped Mature Cheddar English cheese, Gin & Rhubarb and Raspberries & White Chocolate—the latter two are Wensleydale cheeses. We don't know about you, but this sounds a whole lot better than a box of oddly flavored chocolates or a dozen roses! Plus, each 5.3-ounce cheese is just $3.99. What's not to love?

If you're already at Aldi, you might as well pick up a bottle (or two) of their award-winning wines to go with your cheese. Try pairing the English cheddar with a full-bodied cabernet sauvignon—try Peaks & Tides—and the funky Wensleydale cheeses with a pinot noir, like Broken Clouds.
