If you don't have a pastry bag, improvise with a plastic bag.

1) Fill a 1-quart sealable plastic bag with whatever you want to pipe. Seal the bag almost completely, leaving a small opening for air to escape from the top as you squeeze.


2) Snip off one corner of the bag with scissors, making an opening the size you desire.


3) Fold the top of the bag over a few times, then gently push whatever you're piping down to the snipped corner and proceed with piping in whatever pattern you desire or according to the recipe.
