I Use These 3 Kitchen Items Every Day and They're All on Sale for Black Friday
This is Obsessed: my weekly column devoted to sharing all the things I'm loving right now—from unique food and gift ideas to travel destinations and beauty products—plus some tips and tricks for living your best life.
Black Friday usually means two things: eating Thanksgiving leftovers and shopping until you drop. Thankfully, most Black Friday sales no longer require waking up at 3 a.m. to plow down other weary shoppers for the latest gadget or trendy clothing item. Black Friday sales now mostly take place online, which means you can stay in your jammies and purchase your holiday gifts (including a few for yourself) from the comfort of your couch.
There are a few things I'm obsessed with—and *actually* use every day—that I'm sharing with you guys. And the best part? They're on major sale right now. Score! If you buy them, let me know what you think—my Instagram is @jaimemmilan.
Nespresso® by De'Longhi Vertuo Evoluo Coffee Maker with Aeroccino in Silver
Fun fact: Before becoming an editor for EatingWell, I worked in the coffee industry. I'm pretty sure I've tried every fancy way to make coffee—from Chemex to French press—but my Nespresso takes the cake for convenience and consistently delicious taste. I love starting my morning with a latte (hot or iced, depending on the weather), and the built-in milk frother (the Aeroccino) makes frothing milk foolproof (read: no scalding your hands on a hot metal pitcher, no time-consuming cleanup). And I don't feel bad using the single-serve pods, since they're completely recyclable. Whether you're into coffee, iced lattes or cappuccinos, you can make it with this versatile little machine. Score this whole set for $161—a total steal!

Wusthof 8-Inch Chef's Knife
Hear me out, I know $187 for a knife is a lot of money, but this one truly lives up to the hype (plus, it's on sale for $149 right now!). This Wusthof knife is my desert island kitchen tool—and I use it every single day on everything from veggies to chicken. I like the 8-inch chef's knife for its versatility, balance and super-sharp blade. I've had mine for about three years, and it's still in great shape. Pro tip: You can take yours (or any other knife) to Williams Sonoma for sharpening (it costs about $5 per blade).
Le Creuset Signature Fry Pan
Le Creuset pieces are kitchen workhorses—you can take them from the stove to oven to dishwasher with no problem. I love my signature fry pan and use it for roasting veggies, making frittatas, searing steaks, baking cornbread and so much more. It's incredibly versatile, durable and comes in lots of fun colors (I have the "Caribbean" hue, and it makes me happy every time I see it!) This enameled cast-iron fry pan is almost half-off its regular price of $170 at just $99. Le Creuset cookware for under $100 is about as rare as a unicorn, so you better hop on this one ASAP!
