Easy Appetizers: Make a Quick Ham & Red Pepper Spread
EatingWell's Jessie Price shows how to make an easy appetizer for a party: Ham and Red Pepper Spread. This healthy appetizer recipe is quick to make in the food processor and is a quick dip to make for a party.
Hi, this is Jessie. I'm here in the Eating Well Test Kitchen, and I'm gonna show you a practically instant appetizer that is healthy, too. It's ham and red pepper spread. So, you take cute ham, jarred roasted red peppers, a little bit of smoked paprika and cherry vinegar. Pulse that in your food processor till it's nice and finely chopped. Bring it out, put it in a bowl, and then mix it together with a little bit of reduced fat cream cheese and some chopped fresh parsley. Serve that up on crackers or on little endive leaves, put it down on a tray, it's beautiful. That's it. For this recipe and more healthy appetizer recipes, come to Eatingwell.com.
