My mom began teaching me to cook when I was very young and I couldn't be more grateful that she imparted such an important skill. I love cooking for my friends, especially those who don't cook often for themselves or who haven't explored much in the way of food. My boyfriend loves to cook also and we have long, exciting conversations about food. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and I just graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in psychology. I'm looking for a job but would prefer to keep cooking as a hobby!

Short term: I have two weddings and high school reunion this summer.
I love taking walks through my neighborhood, or walking to school if the weather's nice. I also enjoy my Wii Fit!
The farmers' market downtown is great (and way less crowded than it is on Saturday), though I don't make it often enough.
