My Town and State: South Burlington, Vermont
I was fortunate to grow up believing that eating good, healthy food was simply the norm, since my family regularly cooked delicious meals together. My culinary interest was peaked in a nutrition class I took at the University of Colorado at Boulder—one of the top healthy eating areas in the United States. Later, I attended the New England Culinary Institute—an experience that furthered my interest in food. Beautiful weather permitting, I love spending my time doing anything (from Frisbee to gardening) in the great outdoors of Vermont with my dog and my husband Russ.
