Both varieties of pinwheels were delicious! I grated the garlic on a fine grater rather than chop it.

Deviled eggs need the yolks! This is the tastiest part of an egg from raw (as on steak tartare) to hard boiled. Cottage cheese has little flavor and I go for taste rather than texture. Chives are a good idea - easy on the relish and I will indeed try the tarragon suggestion. BUT do not "discard" the yolks. Eating a few of these a week will not do serious body damage.

You can substitute round steak (pounded) or top sirloin for the flank and it works well too.
