This recipe was colorful and I had high expectations for it but it just didn't hit the mark. To much vinegar and just not enough flavor. Won't make it again.

The burgers sound delicious. I love nuts, berries, mushrooms etc. But with a $725/mo. income, I don't buy produce unless it is somewhat less than $1 per pound and try to keep meat, fish around $2/lb. I don't try to have meat or fish every day. I love fish and seafood. But about the only thing I buy is pollak when it is under $2. So my frustration with health food recipes and magazines is that they really don't address low incomes.

I absolutely agree with number 1 made on 10/01/2012. It is quite expensive to eat right, even though I COULD make some small changes to improve things. And example would be that I don't eat enough fruit. I am crazy about veggies, but fruit is the harest things for me to get into. Banaanas go bad before I have a chance to eat them. I just don't know how to go about making this change on a limited income.

stop buying junk food!! it was cheaper for me to buy healthy food then it would have been to buy regular food. usually I go to the store and spend about 200 every two weeks. I went to the store today and bought the same stuff, but the healthy version, no junk food, and spent 110 dollars.
