I agree with everyone. The main item in some of these may be low carb, but then even with those they turn around and suggest you serve with mashed potatoes or rice. For those of us looking for low carb ideas, we typically mean low carb. We're eating 20 carbs a day for the next two weeks and then slowly adding. Did this before but then got off track. Even after we lose the weight we want (which got me off of blood pressure medication and my husband's type 2 diabetes meds reduced) we'll only go to 40 carbs a day on average with an occasional cheat. The person who put this together needs to read what a low carb diet is!

Feel exactly the same - these are NOT low carb recipes - the author just does not understand low carb - cuts out the cream but adds mashed potato!!!! ....incredible!!!

Do you know how many carbs you need just for your brain to functioin???????
Try thinking positively for a change. Instead of TOTALLY cutting out carbs, you need to REDUCE the number of carbs and don't forget portion control. That's probably more important than anything else.

Super disappointing - anyone can take a recipe and leave out the starches - I'm looking for recipe ideas for a full meal that DON'T INCLUDE CARBS TO START WITH!

Agree - trying to avoid carb and they add potatoes to the first 3 dishes I look at. Useless!

Yea...seriously. Whoever put this list together obviously thought that low-carbers should just leave out the starches, but maybe we'd like some help with side dishes for these meals. Ever thought of that? Worst list of low carb meals ever. EVER.
