I'm loving the recipes... they say low calorie, cholesterol etc. but where are the actural amounts and numbers? Like how many calories? How much cholesterol? Am I missing something?

Yes that's right - a shepherd's pie is made with lamb or mutton.

get the name right
Shepards pie can only contain lamb or mutton. otherwise it is a cottage pie
