careful with the salt! I added the 3/4 tsp, but mine was way salty since the broth already had a high sodium content - so I'd say skip the salt, when done add salt to taste!

I like to add pureed beans (usually white) in a pureed vegetable soup... It makes it creamier and richer while adding protein and fiber.

I made this soup based on what I heard on the Splendid Table (and to find a new way to go through the contents of my CSA basket!) and it was VERY VERY good.
I'm going to try adding something to it, after, however, so that it can have some texture (the soup itself tastes great, but the texture is fairly limited.)
