Easy Thanksgiving Casserole Recipes (Slide 9)


I've made this casserole using yams for several years now and it is always a hit...people are always asking for the recipe

The original article is correct when it says pick the right potato. I grow my own, and my favorites for mashed potatoes are the All Blue. They are so smooth that I don't need much butter (2 Tbs for 4 servings) and I used canned milk (Carnation not sweetened) and I use maybe 1/4 of a cup. I don't need to use a mixer or my Bamix, I can whip these potatoes with a spoon.
