Back to School: Lunch for Kids (Slide 1?slide=1)

What??? Tasty for the grown ups perhaps but so many of these would not fly at my house and my kids are pretty adventurous eaters. Also, most of these suggestions would not make it through the rough and tumble life of of a kids lunchbox, and only icepack refridgeration for 4-8 hours (my kids often finish half their lunch after school, since they don't get time enough to eat it all during the day). The pasta salad said mix one hour before serving? That is not lunchbox fare! I appreciate the yummy recipes & ideas but these would not work for most kids lunchbox lunches.

We got a Slicely spiral slicer on Amazon, and my boys LOVE yellow squash noodles w/ julienne carrots & peanut sauce. (Just mix a little PB with a little soy sauce)

It will keep w/o refrigeration and they love it.

Won't most of these things spoil? Most school kids don't have a fridge to toss their lunches into.
