We replace mayonnaise with cool, tangy low-fat yogurt in this classic French sauce, flecked with fresh dill, capers and red onion. An excellent accompaniment to shellfish or cold meats.
- 1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons minced red onion
- 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped capers
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- Place yogurt in a small bowl and stir in garlic, onion, capers, lemon juice and dill.
Per tablespoon: 7 calories; 0 g fat (0 g sat, 0 g mono); 1 mg cholesterol; 1 g carbohydrates; 1 g protein; 0 g fiber; 27 mg sodium; 27 mg potassium.
