A simple way to make plain sugar more special.
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1 cup sugar
- Split vanilla bean lengthwise, using the tip of a sharp knife. Cut into 2-inch pieces and grind in a blender with the sugar. Pass sugar through a fine sieve.
