It was lumpy and gluggy and definitely not drinkable at all. It was barely sweet at all, needed more sugar. Was very disappointed in how bad this turned out, as i was very keen to find an easy decadent dessert and the previous reviews looked so good.
Thick & Rich Hot Cocoa
Rich, creamy and thick enough that you may want to scoop it with a spoon, this European-style drinking chocolate is something different from the usual hot cocoa. Serve it in a demitasse or espresso cup for an elegant treat.

This went WAY better than expected! I had a Spanish Hot Chocolate in October of last year and have been thinking about it ever since, thinking it must be the thickest cream and lots of sugar to be able to do it! I thought today "No, I've got to try it myself", so I found this recipe and was shocked by how easy it was and how minimal the ingredients were! It took about 5 minutes and I had a delicious dessert to dip some cookies in or enjoy by itself, absolutely delicious! I'll be sending this recipe around for sure.
(Also if you add a little more cornstarch, I can imagine it'll be more like chocolate pudding. I also used potato flour instead of cornstarch since that's all I had and it worked swimmingly.)
i actually used plain 000 flour as we dont use corn flour much but doubled the amount so three teaspoons. this changes the flavour I think but it was still amazing. soo good substitute but as someone suggested it needed something more mayb steep some mint leaves in it add vanilla and orange rind someone suggested sounds good too. really anything that goes witch rich chocolate,
The drink is very rich and delicious! It took no time to make and satisfied my chocolate craving which is difficult to do. I'm watching my calorie intake so having a chocolate snack can really wrack up the calories and this treat will satisfy a craving without ruining your day.
