Add a couple of handfuls of raw spinach and you boost the fiber (if it survives the blender ~ don't know about that) and the vitamin content. It tastes good. You really don't know the spinach is there, by the taste, anyway.

I Think this recipe will be perfect since I am dieting and when I replace a meal with a smoothie, I seem to do better

NO MENTION IN THE RECIPE OF HOW MANY GRAMS OF SUGAR IN THIS SMOOTHEE-- WAY TOO MANY FOR A DIABETIC!

I use non-fat plain or vanilla yogurt in place of the silken tofu. Probably not as much protein, but very tasty!
