Add a couple of handfuls of raw spinach and you boost the fiber (if it survives the blender ~ don't know about that) and the vitamin content. It tastes good. You really don't know the spinach is there, by the taste, anyway.

NO MENTION IN THE RECIPE OF HOW MANY GRAMS OF SUGAR IN THIS SMOOTHEE-- WAY TOO MANY FOR A DIABETIC!
I use non-fat plain or vanilla yogurt in place of the silken tofu. Probably not as much protein, but very tasty!
