I'm thinking this is a GR8 start....lol....My morning Smoothie is a tad more complex....I also add Chia Seeds, & a Whey Protein Powder. The Greek Yohurt substitute is good....try to get the FF kind. I always peel my 'too-ripe' bananas, break 'em in half & put 'em in a Zip-lock type bag & in2 the Freezer!! They are terrific in the Smoothie, along w/ the frozen Berries...(any kind). Tossing in a samml amount of Walnuts in the Blender is a good thing too...This always 'holds' me for quite awhile....
DELICIOUS! I can replace my meal with this any day! If you don't have silken tofu, use Greek yogurt. It tastes very yummy! Instead of apple juice, I used a regular apple and I snuck in a few veggies when I gave this to my kids. They still loved it and didn't notice a thing! Nutritious AND delicious!
Under NUTRITION, there is no account for sugar. I'm also concerned that this is more of a dessert than a meal.
I used this recipe but instead used a small nectarine since I didn't have any bananas. SO GOOD :)
