2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar (optional)
3 cups chilled club soda
1 pint raspberry or strawberry sorbet

Stir together 3 tablespoons liqueur or brandy and 1/2 teaspoon vinegar, if using, in each of 4 tall glasses. Stir in 3/4 cup club soda and top with 1/2 cup sorbet.
