Strawberry Fool Recipe

8 servings, about 1/2 cup each

Active Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled and finely chopped

Preparation

  1. Chill a small bowl and the beaters of an electric mixer. Whip cream with chilled beaters until soft peaks form. Add sugar and vanilla and continue beating until the peaks are firm but not stiff. (Do not overbeat.) Fold in strawberries.

  • Make Ahead Tip: Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
