Fantastic almond flavor!

This cake recipe was fantastic and the texture was much better than I expected. I attribute the success to using (unbleached) cake flour and careful mixing. I didn't make the vanilla cream because I was at a friends cabin and didn't bring everything that I needed, but will try it when I make this again.

Delicious almond flavor, freezes well
