For a nonalcoholic version, omit the applejack and schnapps and add 2 tablespoons cinnamon-flavored syrup, such as Torani brand.

Spiced Hot Cider Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 whole cloves
  • 1/2 cup applejack, (apple brandy)
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon schnapps
  • Cinnamon sticks, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Bring apple cider, cinnamon stick and cloves to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add applejack and schnapps. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and serve hot.
