Southwestern Beef & Bean Burger Wraps

January/February 2007

Your rating: None Average: 4.2 (238 votes)

Kids and adults alike will love these quick, zippy burgers. The beans make the burgers a little fragile, so be careful when taking them off the broiler pan. Make it a meal: Serve a green salad and frozen mango slices for dessert.

"So fast and easy to make. These were ready very quickly. Easy for my 4 year old to eat. Doesn't fall apart on him like a burrito would. "

Very tasty, however next time I will just mash the avocado and top the burger with the salsa separately. Mixing them together they loose a lot of taste and turn into a funky looking spread.

I made this recipe and my boyfriend has asked to make it three more times since...even after he made a funny face when I mentioned jalepenos!

Love this recipe. it is simple, minimal prep, and really tasted great. I substituted refried black beans for the pinto refried beans. This will definitely become a staple dinner item in my house :)
