In our humble opinion, steak is best topped with sweet caramelized onions and salty Gorgonzola cheese. We recommend seeking out good-quality Gorgonzola for the best flavor, but any will work. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed carrots.

I thought the onions were poorly flavored and the steaks overdone. Sometimes keeping it simple is the best way to go. Saute the onions in a tad bit of butter, add salt if needed and pepper, add mushrooms at the end and grill the filets! shanolap |

This was a fantastic meal! Added mushrooms to the onions a couple minutes before adding the broth---great addition! Served w/ the suggested garlic mashed potatoes and steamed carrots. Excellent! The onions with the meat---wow! |
