Wasn't sure how the salsa would turn out with the bananas however, it made the halibut! Left overs were even fantastic and i'm not a fan of left over fish. Everyone loved it and will do this again soon! Thank you for sharing it.

Sweet bananas combined with oranges, cilantro and lime juice create a fresh relish to serve with mild, white-fleshed fish, or try it alongside roast chicken or pork.

I'm a very picky eater and my fiance loves to experiment with trying new food. He's been having issues with high blood pressure lately, so I set out to find new delicious recipes that he could add into his diet to help with this.
I wasn't able to get halibut, so I substituted it with snapper. I was also only preparing it for one person, so I just kinda guessed with the portions. I didn't have much time so I sided it with fresh sliced oranges and a simple salad with Fat Free Italian dressing.
He loved it a lot and was very pleased. I'm certainly adding this to my list of things to make again for him. I cut the fish into small pieces for him(just how I like to eat things!) and left the relish in chunks on the side. He tried it this way and agreed that it wasn't amazing. After mixing the chunks into the chopped fish, he said it blended much better that way. His advice was:
Solid filet of fish with blended relish poured over top
-or-
Chopped fish with chunky relish mixed together
I have much more relish left over so I'm hoping to make another serving for lunch tomorrow, and this time snap a photo. Thanks so much for the recipe!

What an awesome recipe! The fish was moist and flakyand the relish was a perfect compliment. My husband and teenage son
loved it.!

love the whole recipe: the fish was tender, juicy and flaky( I cooked it for 8 minutes) and the relish was fantastic. My husband enjoyed it very much. The recipe is simple and the result is superb. Thanks for this delicious meal.
