Roasted Halibut with Banana-Orange Relish

Sweet bananas combined with oranges, cilantro and lime juice create a fresh relish to serve with mild, white-fleshed fish, or try it alongside roast chicken or pork.

love the whole recipe: the fish was tender, juicy and flaky( I cooked it for 8 minutes) and the relish was fantastic. My husband enjoyed it very much. The recipe is simple and the result is superb. Thanks for this delicious meal.

to the lady who didn't particular like that it didn't give much flavor to the fish and it wasn't juicy, I had the same complaint; however I liked the orange and banana flavor so much that I pureed it and the pour it over top of the fish and it made it 10 times better. you could really grasp the flavors and it enhanced the fish much more than just the chuncks. Also, I left out the lime it was a little two strong. bt thats up to you.. try it in a blender poured over your fish whole new experience. but none the less i love the recipe and its works on any white fish like they said

I tried this recipe a few hours after finding it and my family loved the dish. It is very easy and the orange and banana are an excellent compliment to the halibut.

I make this dish all the time, and I'm not a banana-lover to say the least. The combination is particularly fantastic if you use grapefruit instead of oranges. It's also really simple and really, really fast to prepare. I highly recommend it!
