I accidentally used semi-sweet chocolate chips but I think they still turned out delicious. Aside from the chocolate, it's not super sweet but not every treat has to be, in my opinion. I enjoy them and would make them again.

Made these twice now, Hubby LOVES them but he is a huge fan of peanut butter and chocolate sweets. I think they r ok but not much of a peanut butter fan. Super messy. I tried my hardest to get them pretty. No such luck BUT in the sweets defense, they dont need to be pretty, taste is all that really matters... Second time arund i added the confectioners sugar and it seemed to help a BIT...
I loved these, I used almond butter and they tasted just as good! The toothpick before freezing tip helps out a lot...I highly recommend double boiling your chocolate as it can scorch in the microwave.
I don't mind these having a flat bottom, so I used a melon-baller to form the truffles before freezing. Mess-free, uniform size, easy!
Couldn't be simpler to make. I used dark chocolate, healthier. The peanut butter and pretzel mixture never froze hard enough to stay together and wouldn't roll into a ball, sort of just blobbed up. Next time I'm going to pour all the oil off a new jar of peanut butter before measuring so as to make it as solid as possible before mixing with the pretzels. And I will stab each ball with a toothpick before freezing to simplify the chocolate coating process, which wasn't pretty. I should have read the reviews more carefully before making.
