delicious! i made them a little while ago and they were simple to make, and tasted like a professional truffle! but instead, i used a chocolate bar to melt since i didn't have any chocolate chips. -Aimee L.

These peanut butter-pretzel truffles satisfy your craving for something sweet and salty.

Excellent recipe. Only suggest that it could be even better using a quality bittersweet dark chocolate that provides more antioxidants. good eating Judy in WA

So yummy! Thanks Eating Well! I actually prefer them with semi-sweet or dark chocolate. I agree with the others who claim the recipe doesn't make 20 truffle-sized balls (not sure I could make 20 balls of any size). I get 15-20 truffle-sized balls when I double the recipe. To the person who wondered about shipping them, I think you could if you froze them first and packed them with a freezer pack, depending on how far you want to ship them. They definitely don't do well out of the fridge for longer than about 2 hours, I find.

It is a noble gesture to include the "added sugars" in the nutritional breakdown, but in the grand scheme of things it is really the total carbohydrate grams that matter for people with diabetes to include them in their meal plan.
