Onion Rings

Your rating: None Average: 3.4 (241 votes)

We couldn’t get enough of these crunchy onion rings in the EatingWell Test Kitchen. Try any seasoning blend that you have on hand to add flavor to the breading or substitute 1 teaspoon salt instead. Seasoned whole-wheat breadcrumbs are available in some supermarkets and natural-foods stores. If you can find them, try them in place of the plain breadcrumbs and seasoning blend.

These were a lot of work for dry onion rings. The oven temperature is too high. They came out too dry and tasteless. Not worth the trouble.

These are delicious!

We have made these numerous time with a variety of spices. If someone's rendition was too salty blame the cook not the recipe. We will eat no other onion rings. Make sure you use sweet onions. Delicious

Delish!

Loved this idea! Can't really go wrong w/ it...I ate it w/ Trader Joe's pizza sauce and it was a wonderful dinner! I'm gonna be making one of these healthy junk foods at least twice a week so look out for more!
