The secret to a good cream sauce is always the same: not too much cream or it can be overpowering, masking the more delicate flavors. Here it contains a bountiful amount of mushrooms and is served over chicken breasts.

This was DELICIOUS!!! Wow wow wow. In my quest for low calorie meals, I finally found a good one! I prepared it with onions instead of shallots, and no chives, but the results were amazing. I also served it with 1/2 cup of brown rice. Aslo, my VERY PICKY 7 year old came over to watch me cook it and requested some for lunch - and then said it was the best meal he'd ever eaten!

Great meal...takes a little prep (at least the first time) but the sauce and the shitake mushrooms added a great flavor to this dish. Served with pasta and green beans to round out a tasty dinner.

I just watched the movie Julie and Julia and wanted to make this dish. However, I wanted something a little healthier then the original Julia Child recipe. It was amazing!!!!! My boyfriend is not a huge lover of mushrooms and he gobbled them all up! This recipe is going straight into the permanent recipe box!
