Made for Thanksging yesterday and these Sweet potatoes turned out AWESOME!! Will finish them off tonight, and plan to make more tomorrow since I have extra sweet potatoes....had accidentally gotten over 5 pounds..I did double the sauce, as I had read that suggestion in the comments, and so glad I did! It really needs the extra juice. Also used orange juice instead of lemon. Added a wee bit of cinnamon. After the first 15 min covered, they really only need to cook another 25-30 min.(not the 45 in recipe..unless you want a purée..lol) They were unbelievable! Better than what I used to make with the syrupy sugary cans, adding more brown sugar, and marshmallows. That was just unhealthy! I may add walnuts though. ;)
