This is a favorite of mine. It is easy to prepare and gives great flavor to a bland pork tenderloin. I buy tenderloin on sale, pre-slice it and freeze it, just so I can make this recipe. I wouldn't recommend substituting apple juice for the cider. It is too mild a flavor to complement the chipotle. But, when cider is not in season, I sometimes substitute orange juice with wonderful results.

this recipe is great for many reasons. It is really fast, easy, and I had all of the ingredients in my pantry! The flavors are excellent- I was worried it would be too sweet but it came out really well. As other reviewers suggest, I would recommend doubling the glaze (and therefore also increasing the reducing time). I served this with rice pilaf and crinkle cut carrots. Wonderful and this recipe is now in my regular rotation!
I've only ever made this with chicken, as my family and boyfriend are not a huge fan of pork, and when I first told them I was going to make it for dinner, they were very skeptical .. I swapped the cider for plain apple juice, and used white vinegar, and my family absolutely loved it, and now get excited every time I say I'm going to make, which is brilliant for me, because my boyfriend is so fussy with his food. Plus it's so simple, and so quick to make, it's great from when I get home from uni and can't be bothered. I've already shared this recipe with all my friends.
I was looking for low recipes low in sodium and this one came up. Although it sounds good it is very high in sodium
I don't know how that is considered heathy.
